Bihar CGL Current Affairs 2026

Current affairs questions appear primarily in the General Studies section, typically accounting for 8–12 questions out of 50 in the GK section. While this seems small, these marks are often the difference between clearing and missing the cutoff — because most aspirants prepare history and polity well but neglect ongoing news.

BSSC CGL current affairs has a Bihar bias. National schemes, international events, and awards appear alongside Bihar government initiatives, state budget highlights, and regional appointments. A national-only current affairs strategy misses critical marks.

Daily newspaper: Read one Hindi or English newspaper (प्रभात खबर, The Hindu, or Indian Express) for 20 minutes. Focus on front page, national section, and editorial headlines — not entire editorials.
